As new residents to both Minnesota and Woodbury, my wife and I have been exploring the area; and we’re so glad our Realtor recommended The Wick! We stopped in last Saturday and immediately fell in love with the setting. Nestled next to a beautiful golf course, the location and ambiance were absolutely stunning - relaxed, upscale, and welcoming. The menu was impressive with a great variety of options. Our server went above and beyond; friendly, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable. They gave thoughtful recommendations and introduced us to some of the restaurant's specialty cocktails, which we really enjoyed. Even though the restaurant was very busy, service remained smooth. We even ran into one of our new neighbors, who mentioned that the staff seemed a bit stretched that night-but we still felt the atmosphere was upbeat and the overall experience was fantastic. We truly loved our time at The Wick and are already looking forward to our next visit. It’s definitely a gem in Woodbury!
Went in for a little Happy Hour, received great service from the bartender, and the wings (dry rub) were da bomb! They even let me order them as all flats, the way I like them. Place has been updated, still the same great views! Thanks to our server Teri for the great service, had a great night, as we planned to be up for an hour and ended up spending 3hrs, fun place with a lot of regulars!
I was invited to have Easter brunch here by my family, who are frequent enthusiasts of this restaurant/golf course. It was crazy busy but the staff was welcoming arriving guests with friendly smiles, seating us immediately, taking our drink orders and pointing out where we could find the large selection of good. Everything was delicious… from eggs Benedict to shrimp cocktails to prime rib to pastas to salads, etc. The Easter Bunny even showed up. It’s a very beautiful venue, under fairly new management, to eat, drink and be merry…did I mention the pristine golf course for those enthusiasts? If you’re looking for a beautiful location for a wedding, reunion, corporate meetings or lunch/dinner with family and friends, The Wick should be at the top of your list. I now have a new location as a hairdresser to refer to my clients to for a wedding reception or any of the other above-mentioned events.
